Bookworm

Works / Product Design

Bookworm #DesignChallenge.

UI/UX DESIGN (MOBILE AND WEB)

BACKGROUND.

Bookworm is a platform that fosters learning through interesting and fun ways. The idea for this project came up whilst I entered the FigmaAfrica’ community design challenge.
“The task was to; Design an ecommerce website that addresses a need and solves a problem.”
Although, I got to know about the challenge a bit late. However, the idea I caught was something, I really wanted to work on and see come to life.

BRIEF

With the instructions and directives from the Honcho, it was clear that the project must be an e-commerce, meaning there must be a way in which my approach(design) will be monetized and still solve a problem.

Some minutes into my ideation and design thinking process, the wise saying which states that – “When we stop reading, we stop learning, and when we stop learning, we start dying” flashed through my subconscious while thinking about the problem to solve.
After reflecting on those words, I concluded that; Studying and learning is very key to humans’ growth and evolution working on a project that fosters the process and make it more fun to do, will be brilliant.

Goal and Ideas
  1. To make reading, learning and studying more fun to do.
  2. To support learners in their course..
  3. To increase sales and conversion through purchase and signups.
